The Linden and the Oak by Mark Wansa
The World Academy of Rusyn Culture is delighted to announce the publication of Mark Wansa's epic historical novel The Linden and the Oak.
Mr. Wansa has devoted nine years of research, travel, and writing to his debut novel, a book that authentically details the customs, traditions, and day-to-day existence of the Carpatho-Rusyn people in the decade between 1913 and 1922.

The World Academy of Rusyn Culture is pleased to announce the founding membership of the Academy. Fellows of the World Academy of Rusyn Culture are Carpatho-Rusyns of notable cultural and academic achievement. In publically recognizing the accomplishments of this group, the Academy aims to create a collaborative transnational network for the dissemination of research and information about Carpatho-Rusyn history and culture.
